Considering widely talked negative effect of Pink Bollworm on Cotton and its overall impact on yield – production despite increase in cultivation area this year, the Cotton Association of India (CAI) the apex body of cotton sector is organising a meeting with Dr. C. D. Mayee, President of Indian Society for Cotton Improvement (ISCI). CAI will be organising a talk on the subject of “Management of Pink Bollworm” in city on 10th January 2018. This talk on Pink Bollworm will be delivered by Dr. Mayee, President of Indian Society for Cotton Improvement (ISCI). He will make a presentation on the subject and suggest the way out.
It may be noted here Dr. C. D. Mayee, is a President of Indian Society for Cotton Improvement (ISCI) and is a noted scholar in agriculture particularly cotton having worked on very important positions in the country which include Vice-Chancellor of MAU, Parbhani, Director, CICR, Nagpur, Agriculture Commissioner, Government of India, Chairman of Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
